Collaborated and worked with Zoe Nissi Pte Ltd for a two-day Makeup Demo workshop on 23rd & 24th August at their office in Paya Lebar.
During the workshop I did some basic makeup demonstration on individuals right after their chemical peeling. I applied the LYCOGEL foundation (which is distributed by Zoe Nissi) on them. The results? Beautiful long-lasting coverage that has healing properties, aids in the recovery of your skin post procedure and is water resistant too!
I received some samples of the LYCOGEL products - Breathable Balm, Breathable Tint & Breathable Camouflage Foundation a month prior to this workshop. I've tried and tested the products for a month and its really freaking amazing! I brought home 2 bottles of it for myself and for my clients who may need it :)

Had the honour & privilege to doll up gorgeous mama, @TjinLee , for her #SFW51 photoshoot. 😘 As the CEO/founder of @mecurysocial, she is also the director of @singaporefashionweek and helped established numerous other businesses, such as the @crib_society which empowers women (esp working mothers) to become successful entrepreneurs. How amazing is that?! Truly an inspiration for all of us indeed.
I was sent this photo of this pretty model as I was scheduled to do Makeup & hairstyling for a photoshoot campaign. I was told to find a Fringe/bangs wig for her.
I spent two days looking for the right one and bought two just in case.
Was a little nervous because it was the first time I'm using a fringe wig and I was afraid it might look unnatural on the photos. One more thing is I have never met this model in real life before, so I was also afraid that the hair colour might not match!
I picked this from a store in Far East Plaza. This fringe wig has the best colour match even though the bangs was kinda too thick for my liking. I bought it home, attached it to my mannequin and started trimming the bangs.
This is how Yelina looks like with the fringe wig attached to her real hair.
It turned out surprisingly natural & beautiful on her!
Q: "Do I need a Professional hair & makeup artist?"
While it is very okay to do your own hair and make up if you think you are skilful enough, hiring a professional to do it for you on your wedding day will give you time to relax before the crazy begins. Most hair and make up packages come with a trial session for the actual day. Let your hair and make up stylist know your preference during your trial session with them. Show them images of hair and make up styles that you like to help them understand what you’re looking for. 😊
Don’t be afraid to sport a less than common look for your wedding, if that’s what makes you comfortable. If you don’t wish to grow your hair out for your big day, then don’t. There are plenty of wedding appropriate styles for short hair. Or, if you have a long bob, your stylist can put it into an up-do like I did for my wedding. Similarly, if a dark brown or black smoky eye look is not quite your thing, even if that’s what ever...
